Why do I write?

I write because writing itself makes me write. Writing acts outside of the limits of time and space. It in fact binds time and space. Writing connects worlds, within and without. Writing is a journey. It is dreams come true, or dreams faded. It is thoughts, joys, sorrows, melancholy, despairs, defeats, triumphs. It is an unreal exploration of reality and unreality. Writing is nothing but life itself. Therefore, asking "why I write" is the same as asking "why I live". And, my answer is this: I write because I live.
